Mother jailed for allegedly setting daughter on fire

WRIGHT, PORCHE

A mother in Sacramento, California, allegedly committed one of the most heinous crimes of 2015. According to KTLA,  Porche Wright, 27, had a history of abusing her 7-year-old daughter.

But Wright’s friend knew that things had gone too far when she noticed that the girl was suffering from severe burns. Wright’s friend called 911 and police found the young girl with burns so severe that skin was peeling off her face. The child is currently undergoing treatment, but is expected to survive.

Apparently, Wright doused the girl with gasoline and set her on fire. She was arrested and charged with attempted murder and endangering the life of a child.

Wright has also been arrested for  prostitution, domestic violence and disorderly conduct.
