Furious 7 is on the fast track to racing past a billion dollars in box-office receipts worldwide.

Despite a 59 percent drop at the domestic box office, the ensemble action movie managed to easily hold on to the top spot with over $60 million earned. With a record-breaking $68 million opening in China this weekend, the James Wan-directed film officially topped $800 million across the world and anticipates toppling the billion-dollar mark next week.

Rihanna’s animated family movie, Home, came in second in as many weeks bringing in an additional $19 million. The George Tillman Jr. (Soul Food, Men of Honor) directed love story The Longest Ride opened in the No. 3 spot with a respectable $13.5 million draw. Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell’s comedy Get Hard took home $8.6 million to push past the $70 million total gross plateau. Rounding out the top five is Buena Vista’s Cinderella with $7.2 million.
