The most anticipated fight of the century will take place on May 2 when Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao face off at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
One day prior to their showdown, the two pugilists participated in the annual weigh-in that felt more like a concert than a boxing procedure.
More than 11,000 people filled the MGM Grand Arena as music blasted and Doug E. Fresh served as the official host.
Mayweather and Pacquaio spoke after the weigh-in. “I think all 47 fights were major. I’ve dedicated myself to boxing for 20 years and I’m ready. It’s an unbelievable turnout. I’m glad my fans came to support,” Mayweather said.
“I think the fans deserve this fight. I feel that the lord will be with me tomorrow,” Pacquaio said.
