Though Bruce Jenner has deemed his stepdaughter Kim Kardashian West “most accepting” of his transition to a woman, in a moment during the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce” episode, Kim had an emotional moment that proved she too is still adjusting to the change.

While talking to little sisters Kendall and Kylie, Kim breaks down as she tries to encourage the girls to have more sympathy for the family matriarch, Kris Jenner as she deals with Bruce’s transition.

“He’s gonna tell his full story, at first I was like I was ‘I’m totally gonna cry, I’m totally gonna cry,’ ” Kim tells her sisters referencing Bruce’s then upcoming “20/20” interview with Diane Sawyer. “I was thinking, ‘Mom…this is really hard for her.’ It’s so sad. She cries all the time and it makes me really sad,” Kim continued as she wiped away tears. “We should really appreciate all the things she does for us, because she does a lot.”

Of course the 65-year-old Olympic champion revealed that he identifies as transgender telling Sawyer “I’m me. I’m a person. This is who I am.”

He also had nothing but kind words to say regarding his ex-wife.

“You know, Kris is a really good woman, and I love her to death,” he said. “And the love and acceptance I have gotten from Kris is absolutely overwhelming.”

Part two of “Keeping Up WIth the Kardashians: About Bruce” will air at 9 p.m. EST on Monday, May 18.
