The Twin Peaks restaurant chain has been called the “perfect man cave.” A customer is served cold beer by a hot dressed biker chick in a franchise that builds itself as a “breastaurant.” But this past week instead of cold beer it was hot lead and cold steel as rival biker gangs battled for dominance in Waco, Texas. According to the waitresses, it was pure terror as they scrambled to hide in the restaurant’s walk-in freezer.
One waitress describes how guns were drawn and bikers ran to the fight as she fell to the floor. The women cowered in fear inside the freezer as gunfire and screams echoed around them. One waitress stated “What we went through Sunday was scary as S—“on her Facebook page.
Her sentiment was echoed by another waitress who wrote “All the bikers were running out with guns! I f—–g fell and everything.”
The police arrested an estimated 170 bikers and detained dozens more, so many that a nearby convention center had to be opened to hold those in custody. It is now being reported that a number of those detained will escape charges because the county may not be able to handle the costs of prosecuting so many cases; some of which may be death penalty cases.
