A picturesque mansion on a private island overlooking New York City, which once played host to epic celebrity parties, has gone on the market for a humble $11 million.

The Tudor-style pad, located on the Long Island Sound near Rowayton, Connecticut, comes with ownership of a 3.5-acre island first settled in 1651.

Named Tavern Island, the plot of prestigious property is best known for hosting raucous celebrations for sailors who returned to New England after dangerous ocean voyages. Pretty cool. While we imagine this property won’t be on the market long, we can totally see Jay Z and Beyonce investing in this little piece of property.
