Violence erupted in Muncie, Indiana, over food during Memorial Day weekend. According to The Star Press, the incident occurred while people were gathered for a holiday cookout.

Sabrina Davis was a guest at the home and apparently used the opportunity to do what most people do at a cookout, eat. However, Davis had allegedly taken too much food during the festive occasion and she was confronted by the homeowner’s daughter.

After Davis reached to get the last piece of a barbecue rib, the homeowner’s daughter told her that she was “taking all of the food.” Davis removed her fork from the rib and stabbed the homeowner’s daughter in the eye. Witnesses said the homeowner’s daughter began chasing Davis with a knife after being stabbed. People at the home broke up the altercation before things became more violent.

The victim was rushed to the hospital where it was discovered that she had two small lacerations on her left eye and it was swollen and bloodshot.

Davis was arrested and charged with criminal recklessness and her bond was set at $5,000.
