A few weeks following the announcement of their engagement, Nick Young and Iggy Azalea happily share details surrounding their upcoming wedding with their Twitter followers. Although Azalea abandoned her social media accounts earlier this year, the “Fancy” rapper returned to Twitter last week where she posted updates about her plans for her upcoming walk down the aisle with the Lakers player.
When asked how engaged life was treating her, the 25-year old wrote, “great! Already planning the big day!”
Best known for her eclectic style, many fans are expecting to see a similarly quirky fashion twist on her big day… Twitter user @LeoRising15 wrote, “@IGGYAZALEA I bet you are not pulling the lame classic white dress. You are going to slay your way.”
But it appears that the Ausssie rapper is shooting for a classic style for her special day. “Hmmmm im def wearing white or ivory. I do want a pretty traditional style wedding,” she responded.
And while she offered minor details about her gown, the “Pretty Girls” recording artist remained coy about setting a date: “It will just be between Nick and I, we don’t plan on sharing our wedding details.”
Earlier this month, Young popped the question during his 30th birthday party in Los Angeles. Azalea soon after revealed the big news via Instagram, “Happiest day ever #saidyes.” the recording artist captioned an image flaunting a massive 10.43 carat Jason of Beverly Hills diamond ring valued at $500,000.
Recently, Iggy went on the “Today Show” and spoke with Richard Wilkins about her wedding plans. When asked whether she and her fiancé have set a date, she said, “Probably July or August next summer, a year from now.”
