President Barack Obama invoked the spirit of a Southern preacher during his eulogy for Sen. Clementa Pinckney and the eight other members of Emanuel A.M.E church who died in the Charleston terrorist attack.
Often backed by an organist, Obama captivated the crowd at Emanuel and viewers across the nation. He also led in the singing of the gospel song, “Amazing Grace.”
Following Obama’s eulogy, Black Twitter responded with “Obama Had Me Like.”
