Diddy’s Bad Boy reunion was definitely one of the highlights of Sunday night’s 2015 BET Awards ceremony. But what, sadly, outshined the performances as a whole was an unexpected clip of Diddy falling through the stage on camera that went viral just minutes after it aired. Now a report is claiming Diddy is planning to sue BET and Viacom over the embarrassing fall.

As previously reported, Diddy joined former Bad Boy artists like 112, Faith Evans, The Lox, and Ma$e, as well as stars like Lil’ Kim, Pharrell and French Montana to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Bad Boy Records.

However, in the middle of the performance, Diddy fell through the trap door in the stage that Kim was meant to rise from later on in the performance. Thankfully, Diddy quickly got back up and kept performing as if nothing happened.

But according to Kiss Detroit, Diddy isn’t at all happy about the fall and he allegedly plans to sue both Viacom and BET for $15 million over it.

According to Diddy’s publicist, the rap mogul thinks the hole on the stage and that his fall was a publicity stunt for BET at his expense. “It’s funny how I magically fall into a hole after the whole UCLA episode. I’m not stupid, I am the king of marketing. I know BET’s strategy and now they’ve gotta pay up, nothing’s free when it comes to Diddy,” he allegedly said.

There’s no official court document yet so we’ll have to wait and see if he really files a lawsuit, but if he does, this could turn into one nasty legal battle.
