“Thank you for allowing me to kidnap you!” Rihanna said as she surprised eighty super fans with an exclusive unveiling of her new music video.
On Wednesday, the Barbadian beauty hosted an impromptu premiere party for the lucky fans, who late that evening, boarded a private bus with blacked-out windows and where they were instructed to shield their eyes with a mask. The pop stars guests later arrived at the Bob Baker Marionette Theater in Los Angeles to screen the very first look at “B-tch Better Have My Money.”
According to reports, Tidal urged users to RSVP for a private Rihanna event on Monday morning. Winners were later contacted via e-mail with little instruction and no idea they’d be meeting RiRi herself.
That same night, RiRi shocked users when she debuted the music video publicly via YouTube instead of sharing it exclusively on Tidal, much like her famous friends Beyonce and Nicki Minaj.
And while we’d have to admit that Rihanna’s latest video is not what we expected, since it’s release, BBHMM has already garnered over 8 million views and rave reviews from fans. What did you think of Rihanna’s BBHMM video? Sound off in the comment section below.
