As longtime “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart enters the home stretch of his tenure on the beloved program, fans can expect a slew of stars to drop by and wish him well before his upcoming departure.
President Barack Obama will be one of the well wishers when he makes what will be his final appearance on the show with Stewart as host this on July 21. This will be President Obama’s seventh overall visit to the show and third since taking the Oval Office in 2008.
With memorable appearances on other late-night programs such as “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” “The Tonight Show,” “Late Show with David Letterman,” “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and “The Colbert Report,” President Obama has most certainly upped the ante for future presidents attempting to outdo his cool factor.
Jon Stewart will sign off on “The Daily Show” for the last time on Aug. 6 to make way for new host Trevor Noah, who is scheduled to take the reins on Sept. 28.
