A source for RadarOnline claims that Williams did at one time have financial problems, but that was when she first divorced her ex-husband Kordell Stewart.
“Porsha was basically broke when she walked away from her marriage. She didn’t want anything from the divorce,” the source said. “Some of those debts her husband was responsible for, but it all came back to her.”
“Everyone makes mistakes and everyone has financial issues. Porsha is human, and is not ashamed of her past,” the source added.
Since the split, Williams has been demoted to “friend of the Housewives” on “RHOA,” but she’s also secured a hosting gig with Dish Nation and she has her own line of extensions, all of which keeps her finances healthy.
As for how the rumor began about Williams’ so-called debt, the source says that the story likely came from one of Williams’ “RHOA” cast mates.
“Someone is digging up dirt and looking to start drama,” the insider explains. “Porsha is a great example of how you can get your life together and grow from any bad experience.”
