Rihanna, who previously performed on “The Voice,” will act as an adviser to returning judges Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Pharrell Williams.

On Thursday, “The Voice” announced that they’ve added RiRi as a “key adviser” to all the judges on the upcoming season of NBC’s hit singing competition.

As you may recall, the bad gal previously appeared on the show during the Season 3 finale as a performer, singing her hit “Diamonds.” It appears that her act and possibly their ratings that night are what created this new partnership between the pop star and NBC.

According to Nielsen Media Research, “The Voice” averaged a 4 rating/12 share in the key adults 18-49 demographic and 14 million total viewers with its regular Monday and Tuesday editions in “most current” results, which include Live + 7 Day numbers where available. “The Voice” was both the No. 1 Monday series and the No. 1 Tuesday series on the Big 4 networks last season in the main demo.

In other words, RiRi is joining a winning team.
