The Milian family is in mourning.
Danielle Milian’s newborn son tragically died just hours after birth. Milian’s son was diagnosed with omphalocele, a birth defect that causes internal organs to grow outside of the body.
“Yesterday I was blessed with the birth of my Richie Bear. Unfortunately, last night he took his place with the Lord and we said goodbye,” Christina Milian’s sister wrote on Instagram today. “I so appreciate the prayers and support from everyone. He touched my heart and was perfect in so many ways.”
The previous night, the “Christina Milian Turned Up” star shared the exciting birth news with fans via Instagram. “Baby Richie has arrived! #prayersup for my #babyboy .. He is already a fighter,” the 29-year-old posted along with a photo of little Richie’s tiny foot.
