As you can see above, Beyoncé is back.
The “Crazy in Love” crooner surprises fans yet again, thanks to a new collaboration with Naughty Boy.
On Thursday, Sept. 17, the rapper previewed several snippets of the new track via Twitter, with a promise that the song would be released in full later that evening. “If I lose myself, I lose it all / I’ve outrun the fears that chased, they’re standing still,” he cryptically tweeted with the hashtag #LoseItAll. “Ain’t runnin’ from myself no more / Together we’ll win it all. I’m ready to face it all.”
He continued, “Chasing you, chasing you, memories turn to dust / I’m calling you, I’m missing you. Nothing else matters now, you’re not here.”
Hours later, Naughty Boy dropped the full “Runnin’ (Lose It All)” song, accompanied by a music video featuring Beyoncé and Arrow Benjamin. As you can imagine, the Bey Hive went nuts, expressing their belief that this was a sign that Bey was preparing to drop another surprise solo album at any minute. And while we haven’t seen (or heard) any signs of another secret project; as you may recall, in 2013, Queen Bey shocked everyone when she dropped a full, self-titled album via iTunes in the wee hours of the night.
