According to the report, on Feb. 20, 2007, Scott purchased a Yorkshire terrier from an unnamed victim and forged a check using the name Kim Xerogeanes. After the victim reported the forged check, police were able to use tags from the victim to link the check back to Scott and on May 10, 2007, police issued a warrant on Scott for the charge of forgery in the first degree. It wasn’t until Nov. 23, 2007, that Scott was arrested by police.
Thanks to the tags the victim provided, Scott’s name was also linked to “two other similar dog thefts.” Investigators learned that Scott “was going through the process of becoming a transsexual” and they believe she scammed her victims while “dressed as a woman.”
Although Scott’s mother gave the first victim their money back, the case still went to court and Scott had to negotiate a plea deal to avoid major jail time.
However, Scott was reportedly arrested, once again, for allegedly threatening her neighbor.
The police report claims that Scott, who was arrested under the name Adrienne Scot-Berry, threatened a neighbor, telling him she’ll “kick his a–.” The report also claims Scott “walked toward him in an intimidating manner as if she was going to hit him” and that the neighbor “feared for his safety.”
Scott was arrested for misdemeanor simple assault but the charge was later dismissed.
