Rich Homie Quan had jaws dropping this week when he posted a Snapchat video of himself smoking weed with his 1-year-old son on his lap. Although Quan may have thought the video was OK, apparently Child Protective Services didn’t because a new report claims they’re now investigating the rapper.
In the video, which was posted on Sept. 22, Quan can be seen lighting what appears to be a blunt and proceeding to smoke what many believe is weed while his son reclines in his lap.
It didn’t take long for fans across the Internet to criticize Quan for smoking around his son, but now the video has garnered the attention of Child Protective Services.
According to TMZ, law enforcement sources say that Georgia authorities saw the video and now Child Protective Services and the Fulton County Police Department are teaming up to investigate Quan.
The sources say that CPS wants to interview Quan and find out exactly what he was smoking, if smoking around his son is something he regularly does or if it was just a one-time thing he did for the camera.
But the investigation doesn’t just affect Quan’s custody of his son. He could also face criminal charges, including endangering a child and reckless behavior.
