It’s been a week of ups and downs for Fetty Wap.
As previously reported, the 24-year-old Patterson, New Jersey rapper was injured in a serious motorcycle accident just one day after the release of his highly anticipated, self-titled debut album.
The “Spaceship” rapper recently posted a short video to Instagram to thank fans for their concern and prayers and give an update on his condition:
“Appreciate ya so much for the prayers…they told me don’t make a video but I’m still breathing so I gotta let ya no I’ll be back” the rapper wrote in the caption of the video posted to fans.
Fetty went on to share that he broke his leg in three places, but that may be the least of his worries.
According to the New York Daily News, the rapper has been cited with numerous citations including driving without a license, failing to have a valid registration card, and driving without insurance.
Fetty Wap was scheduled to begin a tour in support of his album next week. Thus far, no word has been given regarding the rescheduling of that tour.
