Atlanta trap rapper Jeezy is adding to his Corporate Thugs empire with a new luxury champagne brand.
The “Seen It All” rapper has teamed up with his good friend and beverage expert Ken Austin, founder of Tequila Avion, to launch a new champagne called “Project Gold Bottles.”
“I have long loved high-end tequila and champagne and this love has inspired me to create a rich, full-bodied champagne that represents my passion. I am fortunate to have a partner like Ken whose entrepreneurial track record includes my favorite ultra-premium tequila,” Jeezy said. “Ken has a deep understanding of the drink’s space and several luxury categories that I know will be invaluable to growing this business. I look forward to bringing a luxury champagne to my fellow artists and fans in the near future.”
Jeezy currently serves as an advisor to Tequila Avion, which has been a top three selling ultra-premium tequila brand throughout the world and was recently voted as the world’s best tasting tequila at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The champagne, which is still currently being developed, has also garnered its own theme song in the form of Jeezy’s latest song, “Gold Bottles.”
“Gold Bottles” will appear on Jeezy’s forthcoming new album, Church In These Streets, set to be released on Nov. 13. The champagne, “Project Gold Bottles,” is expected to be available in mid-2016.
