The race for number one album on the Billboard chart was a close one but singer and actress Selena Gomez managed to narrowly outpace Compton rapper The Game to take the top spot for the week.

Powered by her top five pop hit, “Good For You” featuring A$AP Rocky, Gomez’s Revival garnered a total of 117K impressions (85K pure album sales), while Game’s The Documentary 2 came up just short with 95K impressions (83K pure album sales).Thankfully for The Game, he has a second chance at the crown next week when he drops the second part of his two-part album, The Documentary 2.5.

Elsewhere on the chart, the only other new entry was Jana Kramer’s new LP, Thirty One, which debuted at the tenth spot. The rest of the field only saw slight movement with the biggest move from last week’s number one album, Janet Jackson’s Unbreakable, dropping from one to eight.
