Lamar Odom has had a serious roller-coaster ride of a health journey over more than a week now. After being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel after a reported drug overdose, Odom was left in a coma and narrowly escaped death before regaining consciousness. However, reports have claimed that Odom isn’t out of the woods just yet and a new report claims that Odom recently underwent emergency surgeries.
According to TMZ, Odom recently underwent two emergency surgeries. The surgeries reportedly involved his chest, but it’s unclear if it had to do with his heart or lungs.
Sources say that the stress of the surgeries left Odom exhausted and in a “fragile mental state.” They also add that Odom is emotional and upset by the surgeries as well.
While he’s recovering from going under the knife, doctors have allegedly banned all visitors, except his wife, Khloe Kardashian, from seeing him.
As previously reported, doctors allegedly told Odom and his family that he’d need to undergo several months of rehab to recover from the coma and that there’s a chance he’s suffered permanent damage from his ordeal. However, it’s unclear how much permanent damage he’s sustained.
It’s also been reported that Kardashian decided to call off her divorce from Odom and remain by his side for the duration of his recovery.
