There is new drama over the blockbuster list of alleged Ku Klux Klan members this week. The group Anonymous is now stating that it is not responsible for the release of the names and personal information of dozens of alleged members of the KKK. The list included the names of many US politicians at various levels of government.
The Guardian is reporting that it received an email from a known Twitter account associated with “Operation KKK.” The statement read, “We did not release this list that circulated social media today and we do not vouch for the content of any work we did not complete ourselves.”
The list that was posted was uploaded to the website Pastebin and has spread like wildfire. Anonymous promised it will release names for Operation KKK as promised but not until Nov. 5, 2015.
