While it may all be fun and games when ripping celebrities for their choice in Halloween attire, when it comes to the children of these Hollywood A-listers, Internet trolls can see their way out.
On Saturday, Solange Knowles shared an adorable snap of her 11-year-old son, Julez, dressed as a young LL Cool J via Instagram. Unfortunately, one of her 1 million followers took the opportunity to bully the singer and her son, by calling the preteen “ugly” and his mother a “fake celebrity.” “So cute but at the same time he ugly,” wrote one user in an obvious attempt to get attention.
Naturally, the 29-year-old handled the situation gracefully and schooled the bully for criticizing her little man. We all know Knowles is a bit fiery. Remember Carter-gate? She cautioned the user to “make better decisions in the future” because she “will most likely respond” when someone tries to “spread ugliness.”
Knowles’ followers were also quick to run to her son’s defense. “Children are off limits. I hate cyber bullies. She checked her in a nice nasty way. Good job Solange! @saintrecords” wrote one user and we couldn’t agree more.
“I commend Solange on her effortless class. As a mother and a red blooded human it must have been hard. Kudos on proving that God is real #onlyinsecurewomenandmenspreadhate #correctiongirlsandboys” shared another user.

Prior to the unfortunate incident, Bey’s sister shared this sweet video of her son trying to harmonize with his famous mom. Too cute? Could we have another potential Grammy-winner in the family?
