Congrats are in order for songbird Melania Fiona!

But don’t worry, folks. Fiona’s pending pregnancy doesn’t mean she’s taking a break from music. In fact, the “Wrong Side of a Love Song” singer is set to release her third album, Awake, sometime next year. Her latest single, “I Tried,” debuted last month. The video addresses Fiona’s thoughts on police brutality and domestic violence.
Fiona’s boyfriend, Jared Cotter, also shared a pregnancy announcement via Instagram. “We are so excited for this next chapter of our lives! There is no greater blessing and I’m so happy to go on this journey with my best friend and love of my life. I’m gonna be a Dad!!! Thank you for choosing us. I promise we won’t let you down. I love you.” he wrote.
You may recall that Cotter, 34, appeared on Season No. 6 of “American Idol” and over the years has hosted numerous shows for Fuse TV including “The Sauce” and “No. 1 Countdown: Pop.” This is Fiona and Cotter’s first child together. Congrats to the happy couple!
