Justine Skye, 20, takes on body image issues facing young women today. Recently, the Atlantic Records artist made an appearance in Brazil, to rock out for Tommy Hilfiger, when she shared some encouraging words for fans struggling with loving themselves, just the way they are.
“Most women feel like we’re suppose to look a certain way in order to be considered beautiful. you will never be the dictionaries definition of ‘perfect’ … and you shouldn’t want to be. Without the flaws and the different little marks and scars that are placed on your body, you wouldn’t be the unique one of one person you are today, so love yourself and never feel ashamed to do so,” wrote the “I’m Yours” singer.
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. Along with her message, Skye shared a series of striking photos, flaunting her body in a variety of getaway gear in brightly colored patterns in traditional cuts.
