While many folks spent Black Friday in the retail streets looking for early Christmas deals or comatose from Thanksgiving food festivities, rappers Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole decided to bless fans with a little gift of their own. The two released new music via social media:

” @JCOLENC : Black Friday. gift from @kendricklamar https://t.co/fE5wgBosWO ”

“@KENDRICKLAMAR : Black Friday. gift from @JColeNC https://t.co/Vte415SuWP “

Every time fans feel like giving up on our hopes and dreams of a TDE-Dreamville full album collaboration from the two, they offer listeners something new. This time, they spit nonstop lyrical verses over one another’s records. Cole rapped over Lamar’s “Alright” and Lamar rapped over Coles’ “A Tale of 2 Citiez.”
Cole eludes to a new project dropping in February on his remix over the “Alright” track from Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly.

Since Cole brought it up maybe they will show listener’s love in Feburary.

Take a listen Cole’s “Black Friday” ; King Kendrick’s “Black Friday”and tell us who’s remix you’re rocking with.
