Rolling out recently sat down with Cantu’s global marketing director, Dametria Mustin, at the third annual Family Dollar Fabulous event to discuss healthy hair, healthy cocktails and beauty starting from the inside out.

I’m Dametria Mustin, global marketing director of Cantu.

How long have you been involved with the event?


This is our second year at Family Dollar Fabulous, and boy have they elevated the event!

Tell us about the brand Cantu and your partnership with Family Dollar.

We are so excited to be here. Family Dollar is a great partner because we both believe in creating and providing great products at an affordable price. So, that’s what Cantu is all about. We’re all about conditioning. We’ve been around for over 10 years. And we know that’s the secret to every great hairstyle, no matter the type or texture: Really great healthy healthy conditioned hair. So that’s why we’re here. We’re doing cocktails with Cantu, healthy cocktails by the way. Where they can mix and match different vegetables and fruit, because beauty starts from the inside and then were going outside, where we’re going to have all kinds of items that you can cocktail with Cantu to help achieve your desired end look. From shea butter to aloe vera, to coconut oil to olive oil. And we’re mixing it with our coconut curling cream, our No. 1 leave-in conditioner and so much more. So, we’re so happy to be here.
