When Chris Brown talks about his fans, it’s usually in regards to his appreciation for their undying support of him. But now it seems like things have definitely changed because Brown recently criticized some in his fan base over what appears to be the disappointing response to his new album, Royalty.

Yesterday morning, Brown began a series of tweets about his new album, Royalty, which hit stores on Dec. 18, and shared how he’s afraid of his career stopping and how he wants fans to buy the new record.

Although the rant seemed to simply be about Brown’s fears, the multitalented entertainer then took the rant in a different direction as he began tweeting about how he feels some of his fans are fake and how he doesn’t always get the respect he deserves.

“Every one who follows me and has fake pages being fake supporters is a lil bogus. BUYMYS–T,” he wrote in one tweet.

“Name 1 person who directs and writes his whole video ideas, dance, sing, paint, Etc. ???” he said in another tweet.

“I just demand my respect as an entertainer#BringRoyaltyHomeForTheHolidays #believeinyourself#BUYROYALTY” he wrote in another tweet.

Brown didn’t give a clear reason for his rant, but there are rumors floating around about two possible reasons for the singer’s anger. Check out the theories, after the cut.
