Another week, another million sold.

It was just a normal week at the office for British singer Adele as her latest album, 25, sold another 1.16 million copies. Thanks to a Christmas sales surge, 25 is now the only album (non-reissue) in the history of SoundScan to sell more than a million copies in three separate weeks.

With it’s grand total for the week tallying 1.19 million impressions (1.16 million pure sales), 25 had no problem in maintaining the top spot on the Billboard Top 200 that saw only two new entries into the top 10, Chris Brown’s album, Royalty, and the soundtrack to Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
