She may be caught up in one of the nastiest custody battles Hollywood has ever seen, but pop icon Madonna is taking the high road. On Saturday, Jan. 23, the singer took to Twitter to thank fans for their support after they banded together to pen her a heartfelt Instagram message backing “whatever the things you’re going through.”
Reposting a supportive message from a group of fans, she added, “Thanks soooooo much for this! It means a lot to me! One word of kindness it can save me!”
On Sunday, Jan. 24, the 57-year-old also shared a series of messages celebrating daughter Mercy’s 12th birthday. The sweet messages for her youngest child’s milestone were a rare moment of celebration for Madonna, who has been sharing plenty of cryptic Instagram posts in recent weeks amid heated legal dispute with ex-husband Guy Ritchie over the custody of their son Rocco.
On Friday, Jan. 22, the singer shared a subliminal message via Instagram, as she posed for a sad-looking selfie alongside the caption: “Moving Forward……………..nowhere else to go.” The snap came after fans blasted Madonna and demanded refunds after shelling out to see the “Like A Virgin” recording artist hit the stage hours late at Philips Arena in Atlanta on Wednesday.
This followed just days after the superstar had to deny she was drunk on stage after a very late arrival in Louisville, Kentucky, last Saturday and again, arriving more than two hours late in Nashville the following Monday. Despite the drama, Madonna appears to be moving forward the best way she knows how. She’s without a doubt a dotting mom and we love it! Happy birthday, little Mercy.
