Is Ciara struggling with abstinence?
In a new interview with Cosmopolitan, the “Dance Like We’re Making Love” singer shared a juicy update on she and Wilson’s commitment to abstain from sex until they marry. “It’s going pretty good – we’re hanging in there,” she said. But the struggle is real! “I’m not gonna lie. I’m human, so it is not easy, especially when I look at him and I think he is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen – that I’ve ever laid my eyes on, to be honest,” she continued gushing over her beau’s good looks.
And while sex is currently off the table, Cici admits a good kiss goes a long way: “You get to hug and you get to have a nice good kiss, but you have to be careful not to go too far so you don’t end up in the place you’re trying to avoid being in.” In fact, the limitations have allowed the couple to grow together. “We get to have really healthy conversations and focus on each other as people. That is very important to me and him. It’s very valuable. We’re just enjoying ourselves and going one day at a time and praying and staying positive. Being strong here,” she explained.
Meanwhile, Wilson isn’t the only man in the 27-year-old’s life. During a recent chat with E! News, Ciara proudly spoke about motherhood and her baby boy Future Zahir Wilburn: “There’s something about having a child and knowing that you’re responsible for someone else that gives you an extra pep in your step and also defines the reason of why you do what you do. Not only because I love it, but I also have someone to take care of. My son is my world, he means everything to me. He’s came in my life and brought me something that I’ve never felt before, he brought me a love I could never imagine and I just feel responsible for that.”
“I feel responsible for this young, innocent child that’s full of all this love and life. Which I think he can grow up to be whatever he wants to, I want to encourage that. So, because of that, I work hard to be a great example to him that if you believe in yourself, if you go after what you believe in, you make it happen.,” she added, of her 18-month-old son.
Is it just us, or has motherhood completely transformed Cici? We just can’t get enough of her, Wilson, or her little man, Future Zahir Wilburn.
