It’s safe to say that life didn’t turn out the way that Kris Jenner thought it would. In just a few short years, she went from being the married matriarch of her family, to getting a divorce from her ex-husband, Bruce Jenner, and watching him transition into a woman, Caitlyn Jenner. It comes as no surprise that things haven’t always been peaceful between Kris and Caitlyn, and Kris has made it known that she was shocked and hurt by Caitlyn’s transition. However, it seems like the former pair have mended their relationship. But now that time has passed since their divorce, Kris has already moved on to a new man, and recently, Caitlyn revealed that she’s ready to move on with her love life as well. But how does Kris feel about it.?
As previously reported, in a preview clip for the upcoming season of “I Am Cait,” which premieres this month, Caitlyn revealed to her friends that she doesn’t see herself dating women anymore.
“To be honest with you, I don’t see dating women in the future,” Jenner replies. “I’ve been there, done that, got three ex-wives.”
Recently, Kris filmed an episode of “Ellen” and in a preview clip of the episode, which airs today, March 1, Kris opens up about learning that her ex-partner plans to date men.
“Confusing for sure,” Kris said. “But you know I think that I really want her to be happy and be really comfortable in all the things where she says she wasn’t her true authentic self for most of her life and knew when she was 4 that she felt like that. So you don’t want somebody to be miserable or in pain or anything like that. I think for me, just getting used to that, you know I am human and I have my feelings and I try, and it’s baby steps. And it’s the mourning of somebody that you feel you are never going to be with or see again.”
Host Ellen DeGeneres chimed in, saying, “It’s confusing because for as long as you know or anyone knows, [Caitlyn] was only with women.”
Kris replied, again, that she still has to get used to the fact that the person she once knew is gone and that Caitlyn is a different person with different dreams and desires than her ex-husband.
“That part I don’t understand,” Kris said about Caitlyn dating men. “I said to her when this first happened, you are so excited you have to wait for the rest of us to catch up, like we haven’t had as many drinks as you, like when you are at a party and every else is smashed and you are like just getting started.”
Well, we’re definitely interested to see how things play out for Caitlyn once she starts dating men. We’d also be interested to see if Kris has any dating advice for Caitlyn.
