It’s no secret that Brent Grimes’ wife, Miko is always popping off on Twitter. In fact, it appears that the footballer’s wife’s inability to hold her tongue has been hindering his success.
In addition to blasting the National Football League and her beau’s former team, the Miami Dolphins, in several Twitter rants, Mrs. Grimes was arrested at a Dolphins game last September after going off on police during a game. She was later charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting with violence. And, while the judge decided to dismiss the charges, you can imagine how her long line of questionable actions wouldn’t sit well with the NFL.
Fortunately for Brent, Miko has decided to quit social media (for now), following claims that her antics have disrupted Grimes career. In case you missed it, Miami Herald reporter Armando Salguero recently penned an article claiming the Dolphins difficulty trading Brent was due to his wife.
And it appears he may have been right! Soon after deleting her social media accounts, her 33-year-old four-time Pro Bowler husband signed a two-year $16.5 million contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Coincidence? We doubt it.
Of course, Miko made sure she went out with a bang, this time using Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel as an outlet to deliver her final word. In a new post via Instagram, the writer claims that Miko denies she deleted her accounts due to her husband getting passed up.

FILM!!! we are HAPPY and i dont feel like sharing it with anyone just yet. ill be back very soon and ill be the same supportive, dedicated, truthful b—- i was before i left!”
