Famous Black gay dads Kaleb Anthony and Kordale Lewis have had a roller-coaster ride of a relationship ever since they rose to fame a couple of years ago off a viral Instagram photo. Now, after the enjoying fame and suffering a shocking split, the couple is back together and they recently announced that they’re making another addition to their famous family.
This week, Kaleb and Kordale announced on their joint Instagram page that they are expecting their fifth child together via a surrogate mother. The couple even revealed the due date for their baby later this year.
“After a long time of trying and praying, we’re finally able to announce our pregnancy at 12 weeks!! (WE’RE PREGNANT!!) Oct. 19. 2016,” the couple wrote in the caption.
Shortly afterward, the couple made another post in which they shared that they’ll be doing a big gender reveal about the baby in the near future.
“We surprised the grandparents today with a pink and blue ballon [sic] at brunch. As soon as we walked in with the ballons [sic], they both had a panic attack knowing the great news to come! They were extremely happy….. Now we’re planning for the gender reveal!! #wereexpecting #baby,” read the photo caption.
This is major news for the couple considering the rough times they endured last year. After becoming famous Internet stars, the couple shot a groundbreaking two-minute commercial for Nikon’s “I Am Generation” ad campaign, in which they showcased their family life to the world.
However, their relationship fell apart last summer when Anthony hinted that Lewis had cheated on him. He explained that they tried to work things out, but they broke up and called the engagement off. But by Christmas time last year, the couple was back together and explaining that they were in it for the long haull with each other.
“Real love is hard to find. However when you do find it. Hold on to it. Love is not easy, fight for it like hell,” they said about their decision to reunite.
Well, we’re happy that the couple was able to make it through their tough times together and we’re happy that their family is about to get even bigger.
