In case you missed it, on Friday, April 15, Prince was rushed to the hospital after his private plane made an emergency landing in Illinois. Sources tell TMZ that the 57-year-old’s jet made an unscheduled landing at Quad City International Airport in Moline just after 1 A.M. The singer was immediately transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

The “Purple Rain” singer, who has been battling the flu for a number of weeks, was immediately transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital in Moline, Illinois and released three hours later. He is now resting at home and said to be doing well.

While Prince kicked off his “Piano and a Microphone” tour earlier this year, he postponed two shows last week in Atlanta when he fell ill. After rescheduling, Prince performed at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta on Thursday night. Among fans in the crowd were singers Judith Hill and Janelle Monáe.

“Prince. In Atlanta. At the FOX Theatre. With just a piano. Greatest ever. RE inspired all over again,” Monáe tweeted.

In response to a fan’s admiration, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer took to Twitter Friday morning, where he expressed his thoughts on the performance. “I am still floating on a cloud of purple intoxication after last night’s Piano & A Microphone show in Atlanta,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, fans are sending their well wishes to the superstar:

“Me & my family send out an angel, a prayer & a plea for the healing over our beloved #Prince. Join us in this prayer,” wrote CeeLo Green via Twitter.

“2016 has not been kind to us music fans, so I don’t even want to hear of whiff of a problem with my #Prince. ??? xxxx.” added singer Beverly Knight.

Get well soon, Prince.
