Things between Nicki Minaj and her famous ex-boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, got heated again this week when Minaj revealed that Samuels was suing her for allegedly abusing him during their relationship. After the news broke, Minaj and Samuels began slamming each other online and had the Internet buzzing about the beef. Now, Samuels has spoken about the aftermath of their online spat and is saying he’s receiving death threats from her fans.
As previously reported, the drama all began on Tuesday night when Minaj shared on Twitter that Samuels had filed a lawsuit against her just a few days before, claiming that she both “physically and emotionally abused” him. Minaj claimed that Samuels’ lawsuit was ludicrous and that he was only filing it because he won’t let go of her and he’s mad that she moved on with rapper Meek Mill.
“LIKE I CAN’T EVEN CELEBRATE MY MAN BDAY W/O THIS MISERABLE SON OF A B—- TRYING TO EXTORT ME!!!!!,” Minaj wrote in one tweet, while writing in another, “Caught him stealing money and never prosecuted him!!!! Now I’m DOING IT. ENOUGH!!!!!!”
“Y’all think social media is real life. Stop emailing me u miss me!!!! Putting on a show for the media then emailing me,” Minaj added.
However, Samuels denied Minaj’s claims and fired back at her, claiming that drugs were clouding her judgment.
“Percosets really deteriorate the human brain. Thank god I never got hooked to that s— !! They make me throw up,” Samuels tweeted. “Trust and believe nobody wants to live with you.#richthing Attn: money doesn’t buy happiness. The ones with it are the most pressed.”
Well, yesterday, Samuels went on social media again and revealed in a now-deleted Instagram post that he’s been receiving death threats from Minaj’s loyal fan base.
“Got a lotta death threats yesterday so I changed my # and closed all my email accounts. If your not part of my plan for success don’t hit me asking for my # ??.. I usually chg my # every 3 months anyway it was overdue..ppl gonna have to start talking to me through 3rd party, I might try not having a phone for a while But on the bright side of things these pics came out Fly af. Thx @confusedmuscles? all summer??? #Safaree oil coming soon??? #itiswhatitis up and running?? you ain’t seen nothing yet????” Samuels wrote.
Hours later, Samuels also tweeted that he’d heard that a hit had been put out on him.
Well, we hope that Samuels remains safe, but we also hope that he settles this beef with Minaj and moves on from this unnecessary drama with her.
