Boxing Legend Muhammad Ali passed away today at the age of 74 at a Phoenix-area hospital.
Ali was in the hospital for a few days due to respiratory complications. The heavyweight champion fought a 32 year battle with Parkinson’s disease, which slowly robbed him of his voice and his physical movement.
Although his health took a decline, it did not stop him from speaking out on political issues that mattered to him. In December he voiced his opinion on Presidential candidate Donald Trump: “We as Muslims have to stand up to those who use Islam to advance their own personal agenda,” he said.
