Blac Chyna’s whole life seemed to improve ever since she became romantically involved with Rob Kardashian earlier this year. The former model and exotic dancer is now one of the most talked about celebs in America, she’s engaged to Rob and she and Rob are expecting their first child together. Chyna is also expected to change her name to Angela Kardashian after she and Rob wed. However, although Chyna is reportedly taking on the Kardashian name, reports are claiming that she’s refusing to take any money from the wealthy Kardashian family.
According to media reports, sources say that Chyna is very adamant about remaining independent and self-sufficient, even though she will soon be part of one of the highest-earning celebrity families in the nation. Instead, the sources say Chyna wants to build her own brand now that her career is changing.
“Chyna would never accept money from Rob’s family. She always worked and wants to continue to find ways to make good money. She stopped doing club appearances now, so the money needs to come from somewhere else. Both Rob and Chyna are very excited about their show. They can’t wait to share everything with their fans,” sources said.
However, despite the reports, Chyna will no doubt be making money alongside Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner and the rest of the Kardashians because she and Rob recently landed a reported 7-figure deal with E! for their own reality series.
The series, which has the working title “Rob & Chyna,” will consist of six one-hour episodes focusing on the duo’s whirlwind romance and their lives up to their now-infamous pregnancy. The network also revealed that “Rob & Chyna” will culminate in a separate TV special that will air after Chyna gives birth to her little Kardashian.
Speaking of Chyna’s little Kardashian: sources say that Chyna and Rob are keeping very mum about Chyna’s pregnancy and their show.
“When someone asks how Chyna and the baby are doing, he smiles and says, ‘great.’ They won’t share any details. They are saving it for their show. Even when friends ask, they refer to their show and say they will share it all on the show,” the source said.
