Like most of the Kardashian women, Khloe Kardashian has had a storied history with the men in her life and that’s certainly helped her remain one of the most talked about women in the industry. But while most people know about Khloe and her celebrity romances with the likes of French Montana and Lamar Odom, few know about her equally interesting teenage years with men. And according to media reports, one interesting thing about Khloe’s teenage years is that she once lived with an older man.
According to reports, yesterday, Khloe opened up about her past with her millions of website and app subscribers and revealed that she moved out of her parents home at the age of 16 and moved in with an “older man” in his Los Angeles Laurel Canyon home.
“I worked as his assistant and lived in the home, but don’t get it twisted—it was not intimate!” she explains of her past landlord. “He had a family and I just lived in one of the bedrooms. I was rebellious and having an annoying time at home. My parents didn’t want me to leave, but I was a little brat.”
However, Khloe explains that she didn’t move back home with her folks after deciding to leave the older man’s home. Instead, she says that at 17 she decided to move into an apartment in Van Nuys, California with “four guys as roommates.” And one of those guys just happened to be one of her famous rapping friends.
“We were all friends,” Khloe said. “One of my roommates from that time was The Game. I’ve known him since I was 14 and we’re friends.”
Khloe says that she briefly moved back home after her stint living with The Game and their three friends. However, she still ended up moving in and out of different places on her own as she became an adult.
“I lived at my dad’s for a minute, but then I got a little townhouse on Ventura Blvd., right next door to Kim,” she remembers. “Back then, I would move into a place for a year and then move out. I never stayed in one place too long.”
Well, clearly Khloe has always had an independent streak and if that’s what her teenage years were like, then we’re not surprised that her adult life has been so extraordinary.
