Happy birthday, Jaden Smith. The actor-model, arguably one of Hollywood’s most quoted celebrity kids, is celebrating a big milestone this weekend, his 18th birthday. Naturally, on Friday, July 8, his parents Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, were among the first to pen loving messages, which they shared via social media.
“Happy Bday, Jaden! You’re 18 years old today. And I’m still tryna figure out what the hell I’m doing,” the Suicide Squad star, 47, penned along with an adorable snap, perfectly summing up the caption. In the throwback pic, Smith can be seen scratching his head while glancing down at baby Jaden. Meanwhile his expression reads “what have I gotten myself into?”
Pinkett Smith also shared a cute throwback snap of “Mr. 18” via Facebook, writing, “Jaden, You are the prince of my heart. I have no doubt that you were born to me to show me how deeply I can love. You are one of the brightest lights of my life. You are my son, my friend, a walking embodiment of my soul, my treasure,” the mother of two wrote.

Soon after, baby sister Willow got in on the action, also dedicating a social media post to the birthday boy. While her famous parents opted to show their love by posting FBF photos of Jaden, the Chanel muse shared a recent image of the dynamic duo sharing a carousel ride.
“BROO I luv youu 2 infinity,” Willow, 15, wrote.
Following an epic birthday dinner with his loved ones, the Karate Kid released a new track titled “LABOR V2” in honor of legally becoming an adult. In the jazz infused song, the 18-year-old name-drops Miley Cyrus, as well as addresses his status as a trendsetter and racial discrimination. You go Jaden.
