Has Lamar Odom returned to old habits?
On Tuesday, TMZ reported that the troubled NBA baller was removed from a Delta flight from Los Angeles International Airport after throwing up on the plane. In addition, eyewitnesses told the outlet that prior to boarding the plane, Odom was throwing back beer and whiskey at the Delta Sky Club.
Although media reports indicate that Khloe Kardashian’s estranged husband did in indeed make his way to New York (later spotted in Queens) his latest incident is yet another warning sign he’s headed down a dangerous path.
Odom reached an all-time low when he was found unresponsive last October, following a three-day binge that allegedly involved heavy drug use at a popular Nevada brothel, the Love Ranch. According to reports, Odom, who racked up a $75K bill was discovered lying in bed on his side with a pinkish fluid leaking from his mouth and nose. Read on for more highs and lows..
Jan. 6 – Odom reached a real high in his recovery when he was released from the hospital and admitted into a private rehabilitation facility where he was provided with the tools to focus on his overall recovery.
Feb. 11 – Odom made his first public appearance following the near fatal incident, when he appeared alongside the Kardashian klan at Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 3 show.
March 27 – According to E! News, prior to meeting the Kardashian family for Easter Sunday mass, Odom was spotted at Johnny O’Brien’s pub in Sherman Oaks, Calif. knocking back “mixed drinks” for himself and his buddies.
April 14 – The troubled athlete was in attendance at the Staples Center as Kobe Bryant joined the Lakers for his last game, where they defeated the Utah Jazz 101-96.
May 9 – Photos surface of Odom drinking at the Southern California mall. Meanwhile, Kardashian alluded to the reports on Twitter. “SMH,” she wrote. “Hummmmmm. People disappoint.”
May 26 – People reported that Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom for a second time after allegedly calling off the divorce in October 2015, following his wild night in Nevada. The filing cites “irreconcilable differences” once again as the reason for the split.
July 8 – Odom issued a response to Kardashians’ divorce filing in a Los Angeles Superior Court. According to court documents, the athlete cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the dissolution of the marriage. He also requested that the judge deny Kardashians’ plea for spousal support.
July 11 – Sources claim Odom is homeless.
July 12 – Reports claim Odom partied for just under two hours at a Los Angeles strip club, prior to his plane incident. A source at 4Play Gentleman’s Club told E! News that Odom dropped a pretty penny, $2,000, on drinks and lap dances.
July 12 – Despite being booted off an earlier flight, Odom made it to New York on Tuesday, July 12.
