Last week, Phaedra Parks found herself in the headlines for all the wrong reasons when reports were flying around the internet that rapper Drama made a bomb threat against the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star. However, days after the stories first broke, Parks has now decided to clear up the rumors and explain that Drama is the victim of both a misunderstanding and racial profiling.
As previously reported, the story began last week as reports revealed that Parks was Drama’s manager during the early days of his career and eventually became his lawyer when he was charged and eventually convicted of robbery. Drama ended up spending 12 years in jail and sources claimed that he felt Parks had let him down and turned her back on him.
Sources then claimed that Drama decided to show up at Parks’ downtown Atlanta office and made a threat to blow up the building, forcing police to arrive and arrest him for making terroristic threats.
Well, according to new reports, Parks has finally decided to open up about the matter and she claims that she and Drama are actually still friends. Parks reportedly claims that Drama came to the building to see her but wound up on the wrong floor and when he asked a receptionist about Parks, the receptionist asked him to leave. Drama refused and the receptionist called security.
According to Drama’s mother, when Drama spoke to the security guard he told him, “I have a bomb CD. It’s about to blow up.” The guard asked Drama if he had anything else about to blow up and Drama replied, “I got that bomb a– CD in the car.”
Well, the guard apparently took that the wrong way and reported Drama to the police, claiming that the rapper had made a bomb threat. Police quickly arrived on the scene and arrested Drama, who is still being held in jail without bail.
The reports claim Parks believes Drama was profiled because he’s a Black man who was wearing gold teeth and a white t-shirt. Parks is now stepping in to help Drama and is referring him to a criminal attorney.
Well, what do you think of this bomb drama? Let us know in the comments.
