The cast of the highly-anticipated supervillain movie Suicide Squad posed for photos in front of a fake barbed-wire fence on a black carpet at the Beacon Theatre on August 1 for an epic NYC premiere.

From director David Ayer (Fury) comes the action-thriller, starring Oscar nominee Will Smith (Ali, The Pursuit of Happyness), Oscar winner Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club), Aussie beauty Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street, Focus), Joel Kinnaman (Netflix’s “House of Cards”) and Oscar nominee Viola Davis (The Help) — aka, Deadshot, Joker, and Harley Quinn, who are recruited by intelligence officer Amanda Waller to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency.

Although dubbed the world’s most dangerous, the formerly incarcerated supervillains, soon become the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal — an enigmatic, insuperable entity. Written and directed by Ayer, the DC Comics based film also starring Jai Courtney (Insurgent), Jay Hernandez (Takers), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Thor: The Dark World), Ike Barinholtz (Neighbors), Scott Eastwood (Fury), Cara Delevingne (Paper Towns), Adam Beach (Cowboys & Aliens), and Karen Fukuhara in her feature film debut, is sure to take the big screen by storm.

Suicide Squad hits theaters Friday, Aug. 5. Will you be watching? In the meantime, check out snaps from the film’s NYC premiere in the gallery below.
