It seems that first daughter Malia Obama is making the most out of her gap year before attending Harvard University in 2017. First the news splashed a viral video of her having a good time and twerking at Lollapalooza in Chicago. A few days later, a picture of her smoking what many assumed to be a joint then emerged causing embarrassment and calls in social media to leave the teen alone. Now it seems she was possibly an attendee at a recent wild house party as her family was vacationing in Martha’s Vineyard.

Police were called to a house party in West Tisbury near the presidential summer retreat due to a noise complaint. Police arrived at the private home and shut the party down, and according to witnesses on the scene, Malia Obama was escorted out of the house before police arrived on the scene. West Tisbury police would not comment on whether she was at the party citing “national security” as the reason. One officer at the scene, who wanted to remain anonymous, is quoted by media as stating, “Sounds like a good excuse, doesn’t it? [referecing the national security explanation]”

Neither the name of the homeowner or the address of the house was released to media by police.

The White House is not commenting on the recent allegations that Malia has been partying hard this summer, citing her privacy. For the most part, Malia has kept a very low profile during her father’s presidency staying out of trouble unlike the previous first daughters. The daughters of former President George W. Bush, Jenna and Barbara, gained infamy not only because of their famous father but also because of their partying throughout their teens. From drinking alcohol when they were minors to attempting to buy weed and allegations of cocaine use, the behavior of the Bush twins was scandalous. But their actions were categorized as youthful indiscretions.
