Kanye West vs. Taylor Swift
In 2009, Kanye West kicked off the VMA beef to end all VMA beefs. As fans know far too well, Swift nabbed a moonman in the Best Female Video category for her 2009 song, “You Belong With Me.” Considering Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies” video was also up for an accolade, some, mainly Kanye West wasn’t pleased. So, he did what any crazed fan would do — rushed the stage and snatched the mic from the pop princess before she could utter a word. “Imma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time,” he said.
While the musicians have somewhat played nice since, bad blood resurfaced between the pair earlier this year, when West dropped this juicy lyric, fresh off his T.L.O.P album. “”I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b*tch famous.”
