In the face of the damning release of his tax returns Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has turned to personal attacks on his opponent. Since his disastrous performance during the recent presidential debate Trump has been exposed as a racist, narcissistic, lying businessman who is trying to sneak into the Oval Office on populist conservative vitriol. At a campaign stop in Manheim, Pennsylvania, the candidate was greeted by a raucous crowd of supporters.

Not missing a chance to capitalize on the ignorance and hatred of his supporters, Trump stated to the crowd “Hillary Clinton’s only loyalty is to her financial contributors and to herself. I don’t think she’s even loyal to Bill if you want to know the truth. … Why should she be, right? Why should she be?”

The comment referenced former President Bill Clinton’s infamous affair with Monica Lewinsky that almost ruined his legacy. In his comments Trump is suggesting, without a shred of evidence, that Hillary Clinton was unfaithful to her husband, and sadly the crowd reveled in his comments. On Sunday morning, Trump supporter and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani came to Trump’s defense stating in an interview “After she called him a racist, a misogynist, a xenophobic, I don’t know, a schizophrenic, I don’t know what else she called him at the end of that debate, I think it’s fair game. That was a sarcastic remark pointing out that Bill Clinton has quite a past and Hillary Clinton has done quite a job oofn attacking the people who are victims of Bill Clinton.”

Trump went even further at the campaign event and questioned Clinton’s physical health referencing her fainting at last month’s 9/11 memorial event. “She’s supposed to fight all of these things and she can’t make it 15 feet to her car. Give me a break. Folks, we need stamina, we need energy, we need people who are going to turn deals around,” he said.

On Sunday, Oct. 2, Trump received an “October surprise” from the New York Tines as portions of his tax returns for 1995 were released overnight. The documents revealed that Trump declared close to $916 million in losses from failed business ventures. Because of tax laws in place at the time, Trump may not have paid any federal income taxes until 2013.
