Tensions are high as Hollywood sounds off on Donald Trump’s latest scandal. Over-the-weekend, former “Grey’s Anatomy” star Eric Dane got caught up in an awkward exchange with former boss Shonda Rhimes while tweeting about Donald Trump’s lewd comments about women stemming from 2005.
“Men, stop with ‘we have wives, daughters’ as reason not to condone his actions,” Rhimes — who has created a long list of hit ABC shows including “Grey’s” and “Scandal” tweeted. “You don’t condone his acts becuz you know right from wrong.”

A few hours later, Dane, who played Dr. Mark Sloan on the hit medical drama through 2012, voiced his opinion in an awkward message that appeared to be directed at Rhimes. “How bout this – f*ck @realDonaldTrump and I could give no fux about @shondarhimes opinion,” he wrote. “My wife and 2 girls. He needs to b btch slapped.”

Confused, Rhimes responded with a simple, “um?” Of course, the 46-year-old television producer wasn’t alone in her bewilderment, as fans rushed to her defense, causing the actor to quickly clarify his comments. “Settle down people I luv @shondarhimes But @realDonaldTrump? Cmon folks, are you crazy? Are you really supporting this a—? Wake the fuk up,” he wrote.

Dane added, “Don’t be confused… it all makes sense to me.”
In case you missed it, on Friday, Oct. 7, video surfaced of Trump making horrific comments about women with then-“Access Hollywood” co-host Billy Bush during a 2005 appearance. Though the presidential hopeful has since apologized, he has been condemned by his wife, Melania Trump, Nancy O’Dell, best-selling author Kelly Oxford and many prominent Republicans.
