Atlanta seniors were recently the recipients of the philanthropy of one the city’s native sons, rapper Future. The multiplatinum-selling hip-hop artist has been flooding the charts wth the most commercially successful music of his career. Teaming up with the 6 God during the Summer Sixteen Tour, he has solidified himself as one of the top musicians in the game.
Fresh off one of the summer’s biggest tours, Future has no plans of slowing down but he does make time to give back. Closing out a successful year, the entertainer will hold his 4th annual Golden Wishes Thanksgiving gala in collaboration with his self-branded charity FreeWishes. Last year’s gala was a huge success with over 300 seniors being transported from several YMCAs to a private location. In addition to the lavish Thanksgiving dinner, the seniors were joined by Future and Mike WILL Made-it and gifted with a full Thanksgiving meal to feed a family of five, provided by Walmart.
FreeWishes Foundation’s Golden Wishes Thanksgiving gala is an ultimate evening event for the senior citizens in Atlanta, Georgia. They will enjoy an evening filled with food and dancing with a live band and DJ, alongside some influential leaders in the Atlanta community. During the event, each senior citizen will be gifted the makings for a perfect holiday meal of southern comforts. This year, FreeWishes Foundation will be honoring two seniors who have been nominated and recognized for their lifelong contributions within their community.
