When it comes to keeping her figure toned and tight, Mariah Carey reveals she looks to these two foods and these two foods only — on a daily basis.
“It’s really hard. My diet, you would hate it,” Carey recently told E! News. “All you eat is Norwegian salmon and capers every day. That’s it.”
The pop star, who is currently promoting the Dec. 4 premiere of her upcoming docuseries “Mariah’s World” continued, “I’m actually serious. I try to stick with the proteins. It’s the worst.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time the 46-year-old has been transparent about achieving her amazing physique. “I realize that 90 percent of losing weight is my diet,” she previously told Shape magazine. “Today my workout routine is more about getting and staying toned. And for me, that means either taking hour-long walks a few times a week or jumping in the pool three or four days a week to do 45 minutes of aquatic exercises.”
While it appears that the “All I Want For Christmas” singer has found the secret to maintaining her bod over the years, her love life is a different story (no shade). When prompted as to whether it was difficult stomaching footage from her upcoming reality show, Carey replied, “No it’s just, you know, all things in life it’s just like you gotta see what’s meant to be.”
She referenced her recent split from billionaire James Packer, “If it’s meant to be it’s meant to be and if it’s not then ultimately you just have to accept that and move on.”
Though Carey is still in search of love, she’s got ample support from loved ones Nick Cannon and their adorable tots Moroccan and Monroe. The family traveled to Honolulu for the Thanksgiving holiday. “#Happythanksgiving everyone,” wrote Carey via Instagram, alongside a festive photo featuring her loved ones gathered around a delicious dinner spread.
